The value generated through the use of the OmniGuide BeamPath™ system can be understood as a 3-step process – inherent properties of the system, that impact performance, which in turn impacts source of value.

The key properties of the OmniGuide BeamPath system are its flexibility, small spot size, small profile design, and wavelength (CO₂) delivered. These properties improve surgical performance by allowing surgeons easy access to difficult-to-reach areas and by giving them the ability to use the laser energy in an intuitive manner, all the while limiting peripheral damage and improving surgical precision.

These performance benefits, in turn, have the potential to replace open procedures with endoscopic procedures, which can reduce operating time for some procedures. Precision of the system can enable the surgeon to navigate around critical anatomy, minimizing damage to possibly promote quicker patient recovery.
