OmniGuide’s flexible BeamPath™ fiber system places CO2 laser energy into the hands of surgeons. Based on breakthrough technology developed at MIT, published in both Nature and Science, the BeamPath™ system has overcome the limitations of traditional line-of-sight CO2 lasers. It has empowered surgeons to precisely dissect and cut tissue, coagulate microvasculature, and debulk masses they previously could not access. The hollow core of the fiber delivers a cooling flow of inert gas that clears the surgical field of blood and debris, improves coagulation, and minimizes tissue heating.
